Glenbrook North Baseball Camp Here's a chance to sharpen your skills and learn to play baseball the Spartan Way. The GBN Baseball Program is offering a camp for all boys currently in grades 3 through 8. It's on February 19th, at the High School. Click on the Glenbrook North graphic below for all the details.
Register by February 10th and receive a GBN Baseball T-Shirt. Players should be prepared to work hard and have fun! Umpire Signup Information
Let us know if you're interested in making a few extra
dollars umpiring for us. You can come by the late
registration and fill out a contact card or email us your
information - name, phone, current grade and number of years you've
umpired. You must currently be in at least the 7th grade.
New umpires are required to attend our training class and pass a test. Class dates and times can be found on the Calendar link or thru the Umpire's Information link in the left column, along with the Umpire Directors contact info. Sponsors Information There's information and an application under the Sponsor's Info link in the left column. Or, you can call Mike Garibaldi at 847-331-1364 with any questions. We'll post the 2012 sponsors after the team drafts.
We Need You! Interested in Coaching If you're interested in being a head coach in the house league this spring, you'll need to contact the league director for the level you want to coach and schedule an interview. They're being conducted on January 24th and 25th, in the evening, and are done by appointment only. If you're not able to make either of those dates let the appropriate league director know and he will make alternative plans. Coaches will be selected by the league's board at our meeting the last week of January, so don't delay. |
Late Registration Info There's still time to signup. We have a late registration on Thursday night, January 26th, from 7:00 - 8:45pm, at the Chalet. You can still use the registration form you received in the mail. Be sure to note that the Late Registration Fee is different than the regular Registration Fee. If you don't have a registration form, there's a printable copy available through the Registration Information link in the left column. We'll also have extra copies available at registration on the 26th. However, we encourage you to fill out your form before coming. There'll also be various clothing items with our league's logo on them available for purchase on the 26th. We only sell them at the walk-in registrations. So, it's the last chance to get them this year! WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECKS, NO CREDIT CARDS Any questions call Bob Schwartz at 847-863-1775. Receive League Info Via Email We have a new email system that allows us to send emails to all of our players and their families. If you'd like to be included, you have to manually enter your information. Click on the baseball mailbox graphic below. It'll take you to the signup page where you can enter the email addresses you'd like us to use.
