For all your home maintenance needs
A message from the board members of Northbrook Baseball…
If you have not yet heard there is an extremely important Northbrook Baseball meeting being held on Thursday, September 22nd at the Village Green Center at 7:30pm. This meeting will cover the current state of Northbrook baseball and discuss major upcoming changes to our house league and travel program. Most importantly, Glenbrook North High School Head Baseball Coach Dom Savino and his staff will be there to discuss their upcoming enhanced involvement with our programs and our conversion into GBN Feeder Baseball. Northbrook baseball will be reforming into GBN Feeder baseball and we will be integrating all of Coach Savino’s practice techniques, drills and strategies. The intention is for all of our children who play in our house league and travel program to be following the “GBN way” and be on the “GBN track” so by the time our children get to high school they will be fully prepared as to what will be expected of them to play for Coach Savino and his staff. Coach Savino will be making a presentation and then be available to answer questions from all who attend.
You spoke and we listened… We are clearly making necessary changes that will better the future of your children in our now GBN Feeder developmental programs. Parents, it’s now up to you. We are STRONGLY SUGGESTING that everyone and anyone come to this meeting and express concerns, opinions, ideas and any thoughts you may have to help with the continued growth. Please, let’s not let youth baseball in Northbrook slowly fade away. This meeting is a long awaited and much needed opportunity to better the situation.
Thanks and hopefully we will see many of you there,
GBN Feeder Board of Directors
