Meanwhile, have a Happy Holiday Season!!!!

Rate Your Coaches

Each year we ask parents to give us feedback by filling out a rating form about their coaches.  Since we're not able to have a director observe every practice and game, your input is very helpful to us.  We do read and review your comments.  Also, be assured that your comments are kept confidential, even if they're about a current director.

You'll find ratings forms for both the House League and the Travel Team Coaches through the Rate the Coaches link in the left column.  If your team had more than one coach and you'd like to rate each one of them please use a separate form.  Also, feel free to write additional comments on the bottom and the back of the form.

GBN Baseball Update

Since taking over the GBN Baseball Program in 2011, Head Coach Dom Savino has done an outstanding job of taking it the next level.  Click on the graphic below for a summary of all their accomplishments.

There's also a great picture of the team at U.S. Cellular Field.

Annual Meeting & Election

Our Annual Meeting and election of directors was held on September 23rd.  The first item on the agenda was a State of the League Address from Mark Gerstein.

Next was the election of directors.  Current directors running for re-election were Jeff Crane, Mike Garibaldi, Michael Rosen, Bob Schwartz, Marc Turim, Scott Weiner and Steve Zohn.  All seven were re-elected.  Michael Grossman and Dennis Kramer were newly elected to fill the seats vacated by the departure of Steve Dolins and Mark Malter.

Following the elections was the Open Forum.  Issues raised included:  time limits for games, smaller team rosters, uniform requirements, game cancellations due to rain, and the need for a league batting cage.

The 2015 Calendar is almost complete.  We'll post it here once all of the locations are finalized.
