BE A NORTHBROOK BASEBALL UMPIRE THIS SPRING

Northbrook Baseball has a longstanding tradition of providing our local kids with the opportunity to umpire our House Leagues. For young adults in 7th grade and up, this is an excellent opportunity to have a paying job that keeps them involved with the game of baseball, while teaching important life skills of responsibility, decision-making, and interacting with adults. Registration for 2022 umpires is now available HERE. Once you sign-up, you will be contacted directly by our umpiring directors who will guide you through the training process.

2022 Spring House League Registration is Live

Welcome to the 2022 Northbrook Baseball Spring House League season. Registration is now live and may be accessed HERE. Please complete all relevant information on the registration form and submit your payment via credit card. Please register by January 31 to take advantage of early bird pricing ($255). For all players registered for House League, player evaluations will take place in the Fieldhouse at Glenbrook North High School. Players in grades 3 and 4 will participate in evaluations on Sunday, February 6, while grades 5-7 will be evaluated on Sunday, February 13. Evaluations are mandatory for all registered players.

2022 4th of July Tournament Registration is Open

Northbrook Baseball is proud to present its 27th Annual 4th of July Tournament, July 1-4, 2022. Last year, for the first time, we offered play at most age groups in A, B, and C divisions, and plan to do the same next summer.

We invite you to register your team here and encourage you to do it as soon as possible. We are only able to accept 8 teams at each level, and as you may have noticed, 2022 baseball tournaments throughout the area are already in high demand, with many already sold out.

Northbrook Baseball Gives Back

Northbrook Baseball has been a part of the community since 1952. While we are a not-for-profit organization, we understand that there are many other non-profits dedicated to far more consequential causes than youth sports. We feel that it is our responsibility to support those organizations with the same generosity that our community has shown us over the years.

To that end, Northbrook Baseball is proud to announce donations to two important causes:

  • Hunger Free Northbrook is an organization dedicated to engaging our community to improve the food security and nutrition of those in need .
  •  In January 2021, Northbrook lost one of its own, GBN Senior, Dylan Buckner. In Dylan's memory, we are proud to support the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Northbrook Baseball encourages its members to support these causes as well, or to give back to the community in another way that is meaningful to you.
