2019 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

When & Where:      Regular registration is Thursday evening, January 10th, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, or Saturday morning, January 12th, from 9:30am to Noon, both dates are at The Chalet at Meadow Hill Park (https://www.nbparks.org/facilities_parks/chalet/). There will also be a late registration on Thursday evening, January 24th, from 7:00pm to 8:45pm, at The Chalet at Meadow Hill Park.

Cost:       If paid on or before January 12th, the fee is $250 for Northbrook (Incorporated Areas only) residents and $275 for non-residents (Unincorporated Northbrook or non-Northbrook).  Forms received after January 14th, are considered late registration and the late fee is $275 for Northbrook residents and $300 for non-residents.  We only accept cash or checks – NO credit cards.  Make checks payable to Northbrook Baseball.  We’ll also be selling various clothing items with the Northbrook Baseballlogo at registration.

It is very helpful to both the coaches and the player, if players are able to participate in their player evaluation session.  Once the team drafts for the Major and Minor Leagues are held, the teams are set and players will only be added if an opening occurs.

Refund Policy

If a player decides to withdraw after they have registered and paid the registration fee the following applies:

The player or one of his parents must contact us in writing, either with a written letter or preferably via email, stating he is withdrawing from the house league, listing his name, current grade, who to make the refund check out to and where to send it. 


Refund amounts are based on when the written withdrawal notice is received or when the email is dated.

The amount to be refunded is explained below and based on proper notification of withdrawal:

  • FULL refunds are given if we are properly notified at anytime prior to the day of the Major League Team Draft.  It doesn't matter what grade or league the player is in, the cutoff date for full refunds is the day before the Major's draft takes place.
  • A 50% refund will be paid to withdrawals received beginning on the day of the Major's draft, and up to the Monday of the week preseason games are scheduled to begin.  It doesn't matter when your first preseason game is scheduled.  The cutoff date for 50% refunds is that Monday.
  • After that date, NO refunds will be paid.

The board of directors reserves the right to make exceptions to the above refund policy on an individual basis when appropriate.
